John Chesnut Sr. Park is located at 2200 East Lake Road Palm Harbor, FL and is adjacent to beautiful Lake Tarpon. There is no admission charge.
The walking paths and trails are all easy walking and mostly shaded and provide fantastic wildlife viewing.
Throughout the park are playgrounds and picnic shelters providing a perfect place for a family to spend a day of discovery. Even your four-legged family member is welcome.

Trails take you along the lake, through mangrove swamps and scenic wooded shade, with opportunities to spot waterfowl, alligators, raccoons, hawks, turtles and many varieties of birds.
John Chestnut Sr. Park provides hours of enjoyment for nature enthusiast young or not so young. There is even a fenced dog park within the park, where your four-legged family member can run free and make new friends.
Lake Tarpon is 5 miles long and one mile wide. Motor boating, canoeing and kayaking are popular on Lake Tarpon. A boat ramp is provided in the park (fee is charged for boat ramp use)
