Clearwater Beach – More than just another Beach Vacation

Yes, it has gorgeous sugary white sand, and the surf is usually calm and relaxing, and yes, it is a great beach for families. I mean, after all, it is one of the top-rated beaches in the United States but do you really want to go on another beach vacation? UH… YES!!!!

Grab your beach towels, swimsuits, and flip-flops and get packing because this beach is so much more than just another beach, and if you want a vacation with the whole beach experience, then Clearwater Beach is the beach vacation you have been looking for. It is no secret that this beach is a top-rated beach, and for a good reason, with so many fun-in-the-sun activities available and abundant options for dining, your only problem will be deciding on which ones to choose.

Try some fishing at Pier 60, a 1080 foot fishing pier complete with a bait house, store, and snack bar, and if the little ones are not all that interested in fishing, right in front of the entrance to the pier is one of the largest playgrounds on the Gulf.

Rent a bike and go biking on the Pinellas trail, learn to surf on an indoor surfing machine. How about parasailing off the back of a boat getting breathtaking views. Rent a unique, fun ride scooter and explore the street sights of Gulf Blvd or perhaps a jet ski for some on the water action.

Pier 60 also offers sunsets nightly!! A great spot to view the sun sinking into the Gulf waters, a beautiful sight indeed. In fact, at Pier 60, they celebrate sunset every day from 6 pm to 9 pm, featuring arts and crafts, street performers, and more.
