The View of Madeira Beach & Johns Pass

With the beautiful sparkling waters of the Gulf of Mexico to the west and the intercoastal waterway to the east, and a whole lot of beach fun and entertainment at its center, Madeira Beach is 2.5 miles of ear-to-ear smiles.

Beach life is excellent in Madeira Beach. With an amazing shoreline, top-rated restaurants, fishing charters, boat tours, all sorts of thrilling water activities, and breathtaking sunsets, every member of the family will be satisfied with this beach vacation destination.

In 1848 a hurricane cut a pass between the Gulf of Mexico and the Intercoastal waterway. A pirate named John LeVeque was the first to sail the new pass, thus the name John’s Pass. Today, hundreds of boats use John’s Pass to access the Gulf of Mexico every day, and thousands of tourists visit John’s Pass Village and Boardwalk.
