Play and party all day and in to the evening at Icon Park on International Drive in Orlando, Florida.
With so many fun and exciting attractions to choose from, you will need to plan for an entire day at Icon Park Entertainment Complex. Come face to face with a shark at Sea Life, or take a picture with a life-like wax celebrity at Madame Tussauds. Be a part of the game at the 7 dimension 7D Dark Ride Adventure. If you are brave enough, try an adventure of a different kind on the highest Star Flyer in the world, and how about testing your gaming skills at Arcade City. Of course, you will want to discover the world of skeletons at Skeletons Museum of Osteology.
The Icon Attraction of Icon Park is a 23-minute flight on The Wheel, with an out of this world 400-foot view of the surrounding theme parks. Now for an extra bonus, if you plan your ride on The Wheel just right (usually around 9 pm), not only will you get an outstanding view of the surrounding theme parks at night, but you will be surrounded by the breathtaking view of their fireworks displays. The Wheel also has the option of a Sky Bar ticket where you can enjoy a beer or glass of wine with your view.
Now all this fun and adventure is bound to leave you hungry, and at Icon Park, you are definitely in luck. No matter what your taste buds call for, there is sure to be a restaurant with a menu to satisfy the craving, from burgers and brew at Yard House to contemporary Spanish cuisine at Tapa Toro. If it’s fajitas and margaritas that you are craving, then you will have to try Uncle Julio’s, or for dinner with entertainment and an acclaimed chef, try Tin Roof.
For upscale dining of the sweeter kind, try the Sugar Factory, which has brunch to late night dining. Signature candy infused cocktails, crepes, burgers, and ice cream sandwiches are just a few of the menu items that make the Sugar Factory famous.
If you decide to spend a funtastic day at Icon Park Entertainment Complex, then let me make a couple of suggestions that will save you some $$$, so you don’t make the same mistake we made. Decide what attractions you would like to see first, and then purchase combo tickets as the combo tickets will absolutely save you some cash if you are doing several attractions. Also, some of the restaurants participate in the fly and dine program where for one price you get diner and a ride on The Wheel.
Icon Park entertainment complex is located at 8375 International Drive in Orlando and parking is free.
